Moose Rides and Wedding Rings

Patrick Finley is an airline pilot who owns a small airline based in San Francisco with partner Joe Gibson. He tends to act first, then deal with the results of his quick decisions. As a result, his family calls him the family moose rider.

When he’s not piloting executives to business meetings, he spends his time enjoying the Bay Area nightlife, always in the company of the blond, redhead or brunette of the night. On the morning of December 7, 1941, loud banging on his front door wakes him and his blond of the night. The news his partner brings about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor marks a major change in his life.

Against the advice of his partner and his family, he enlists in the U.S. Army. Because of his experience in flying, he is assigned to an aviation unit that transports high ranking military men, as well as government officials, from meetings to meetings.
One of those transports takes him to Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii. His nights with either a blond, redhead or brunette comes to a halt, when he encounters a quiet, brunette nurse. His easy-going life is put on hold as she brings on a series of new feelings, desperate trials and paths of uncertainty.
Patrick welcomes the challenges. He has ridden a moose in his past and is sure he can ride this one.
